Fanjingshan, in Tongren, Guizhou Province, is the main peak of the Wuling range and a famous Chinese Buddhist mountain standing about 2,572 m high. Its lone, cloud-wrapped summit — the Red Cloud Golden Summit — has earned it the name “City in the Sky.” It was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2018.
