Getting to Fanjingshan
The main entrance is in Jiangkou County, Tongren, Guizhou. Common ways to arrive are high-speed rail, air and self-driving.
High-speed rail
- Take the high-speed rail to Tongren (or Tongren South) Station, then transfer by tourist shuttle or ride-hailing to the Jiangkou entrance;
- Tongren is reachable via connections from Guiyang, Chongqing, Changsha and more.
By air
- Fly to Tongren Fenghuang Airport, then continue by road to the site;
- In peak season, book a car or transfer service in advance.
Self-driving
- Navigate to the “Fanjingshan Visitor Center / gate”; highways along the way are in good condition;
- A car park is available; spaces are tight in peak season, so arrive early.
Transfer order
At the gate, take the shuttle to the cableway’s lower station, then ride the cableway up. Both run to the day’s schedule — allow time for transfers.
