Learn the conditions first
The area is mostly steps and slopes plus shuttle and cable car, and accessible facilities and whether a wheelchair or walking aid may be used follow on-site rules and actual conditions. Learning about facilities and transfers in advance makes for an easier trip.
How to save effort
- Use the shuttle and cable car as much as possible to cut walking and climbing;
- Stretch the trip out, use fewer stops, and leave ample time for rest and transfers;
- Travel with companions who can help, and slow down and hold on at steps and slopes.
With elders and young children
- With elders: focus on views and rest, avoiding crowds and wet, slippery times;
- With infants: focus on nearby views and watch the child closely on the shuttle and cable car;
- Carry water, regular medicines and warm clothing, and watch their energy and mood.
Note
- Those with reduced mobility should confirm facilities and access conditions in advance;
- Ask on-site staff for help when needed;
- Put safety first and act within your limits, never forcing your way into unopened areas.
